These words are based on the book of Ecclesiastes, from the (old) Jerusalem Bible. The original words, where there is a ‘good’ thing paired with a ‘bad’ thing have been split up to reflect the Old Testament of Judgement with the New Testament of Salvation.

What is the most satanically inspired song you could think of? In answering this question, I went through the obvious, like ‘Bat out of hell’, and bands like Black Sabbath. Then a song came to mind: ‘Imagine’ by John Lennon, a beautiful ballad, for many years an anthem to humanism. “Imagine there’s no Heaven, it’s easy if you try, No hell below us, above us only sky...” then later “Nothing to kill or die for And no religion too ”. "Good News" is an antidote for that song; part of the melody of the verse is what you get if you turn the notes of the original song upside down...

Newspaper gets delivered
